Hyundai Launched New Verna With Four Variants And Six New Colours Today In India

As we said earlier, Hyundai Motors India on Monday announced the launch of the new Verna with amazing interiors and improved exterior features to further enhance its appeal to customers with prices (ex-showroom) ranging from Rs.637700 to Rs.865350. The new Verna rolled out with four new variants and six new colours.

Commenting on the launch, H S Lheem, managing director, HMIL, said, “Hyundai Verna is a proven success in India and the new variant which also comes with an automatic transmission - a first for this segment — will further enhance customer delight and satisfaction. With the launch of the new Verna, we have once again raised the competitive bar for style, performance, safety and driving dynamics in India’s mid-size car segment.”

The new Verna has come out in two petrol variants, 1.6 VTVT and 1.6 SX VTVT and two diesel variants, 1.5 CRDi VGT and 1.5 SX CRDi VGT. Addition to this the company has revealed a new automatic transmission in VGT SX Variant, making it the first diesel Automatic Transmission in its segment.

According to the company, the 1.6-Litre petrol variant produces an impressive 103.2bhp @ 5500rpm as maximum power and 14.9kgm @ 3000rpm of maximum torque. The 1.5-Litre diesel variant develops an impressive 110bhp @ 4000rpm and 24kgm @ 1900 - 2750rpm. The Top end diesel variant will be available with both a 5-speed manual and a 4-Speed automatic transmission.

The New Hyundai Verna will comes out with great features include aerodynamic styling on the exteriors with a stylish new radiator grille, electrically adjustable ORVM, new chrome insert in waistline moulding, rear chrome garnish and a new full wheel cover for enhanced visual appeal.

The New Hyundai Verna will come out with amazing interiors which includes sophisticated new fabrics and detailed improvements in quality and finish. The audio consoles have been upgraded too and boast of a high quality 2 DIN Music System with 4 Speakers and 2 tweeters. It comes out with safety features like ABS.
