Skoda unveiled its Yeti SUV at the Geneva Auto Show today. The company has already claimed to bring the SUV model in India at the end of 2009.

Skoda Yeti will get the mills from Octavia and Fabia.  The 4.2m long Yeti which also sources the chassis parts from the Fabia and Octavia.

Skoda Yeti will be sourced to the international market with five engines including two petrol engines and three Diesel engines.

Skoda’s Yeti entry version will get a turbocharged 1.2-Litre TSI unit with 103bhp and it is available only with front-wheel drive.

Skoda’s Yeti four-wheel drive petrol model uses a 1.8-Litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 158bhp.

Skoda’s Yeti will come out with three diesel options are all common-rail units with starting at 109bhp unit available with two-wheel drive only, while the other which carry powerful motors with 138bhp and 168bhp with four-wheel drive.

Skoda claims that the Yeti sports superior levels of practically; when the rear seats are folded the boot stands at Capacious 1760 litres.
