Ford India February Sales

Ford India has declared a 35 percent growth in month on month sales in February 2009 at 2636 cars against 1965 units in January 2009.
The company has also posted than an 8 percent growth in sales YoY, a Ford release said today.
The new Ford Ikon continues its josh to impress the entry level mid-size segment customers, with leaderships across India seeing consistent bookings, it said.
“Our product strategy was set in motion in 2008 with the launch of new versions of the Endeavour,” Timothy Tucker, Vice-President, Sales, Ford India said in the release.
Fiesta and Ikon models have started to pay off as we move into 2009, he said.
“We remain committed to making our products deliver the best value for money that our customers would look for in the current times,” Tucker added.
