Tata Nano is spotted on Tiruchi Road in Coimbatore as the Coimbatore-based Jayem Automotive Ltd (JAL) was doing driving tests for Tata Motors and Nano was indeed in Coimbatore. However it is not available for test drives for the general public. The company will launch the Tata Nano on March 23rd 2009.
Mr J. Anand, Managing Director of JAL, revealed that the Nano is extremely easy and exciting to drive. An ace car rally driver himself, Mr Anand said his company was associated with the Tata group because of which he was able to test-drive the Nano.
Fully impressed with the Car, Mr. Anand said that that the Nano offers “value for money” in the real sense. He added that the car is easy to drive and is manoeuvrable as it can turn in a small radius. The big plus was its interior and it has “fantastic air conditioning” he further added.
It is to be mentioned here that, the Nano would be launched at a function in Mumbai on March 23. The cars will be on display at Tata Motors dealerships from the first week of April and bookings will commence from the second week.
