Acer has recently launched a new Aspire One D150 notebook equipped with 6hr Battery and 10.1″ WTFT at Rs.20,999. This netbook will be available in Croma outlets till March 20th across India.

Acer Aspire One D150 features:

• 10.1″ WSVGA high-brightness
• Acer CrystalBrite™ TFT LCD
• Blue Black and Red colour
• Up to 2 GB of memory
• Atom processor N270 1.60GHz
• 1024 x 600 pixels
• Integrated with Acer Crystal Eye Webcam
• Two USB ports on the right side & one on the left
• Ethernet port
• VGA output connector
• Two built-in stereo speakers
• Slot flash memory cards (Multi-in-1 card reader SD™, MMC, MS, MS PRO, xD)

At the bottom of the case, the Aspire One has three doors with screws in place. These allow access to hard disk, memory and wireless adapter. The system must be upgraded with relative ease. It also comes with One-year International Travellers Warranty (ITW) along with protective sleeve bag. While previous models Aspire comes with a choice of operating system, the new Aspire One ships only with Windows XP Home Edition. Other software includes a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Works Suite for users, and McAfee Security Center. There are also public utilities, potentially the most useful of which is the Acer eRecovery Management, which restores the system to the original condition when it was delivered from an image in a hidden partition on the hard disk.
