Skoda India has added a new dealership called “Europa Auto” (A Company owned by Pashankar Automotive Ltd.) in Pune recently to cater to its valued customers in the region.

This dealership will be the 60th dealer in India and 3rd in Pune. Skoda has gone through a good business in Pune receiving impressive response from customers.

Eyeing its models success in the region, the company is inspired to open a new car dealership in Pune. Not only in Pune Skoda cars also experiencing good sales across the country. In 2008, when most of other the car manufacturers were struggling to sustain their market share in the recession hit car market, Skoda surprisingly witnessed a record sale of 16188 units. Skoda cars are not only appreciated by car buyers but also by auto media and critics. Skoda’s super hatch Fabia has recently honoured with the title of ‘Car of the Year 2009’ and ‘Compact Car of the Year 2009’ by CNBC TV 18 Overdrive.

Skoda has presently only four models that are plying on the India roads namely the Superb, Fabia, Octavia, and the Laura. It has plans to launch the SUV Yeti soon in the India car market further to expand its product portfolio in the country. The company has strong plans to catch the India market and to give it a shape, it’s expanding it network across the country.
