Reva Electric Car Company said that it entered Costa Rica to launch the electric car REVAi in the Central American country. The company is happy that it got a warm welcome from the markets in Central America and the launch in Costa Rica will help drive the REVA into other markets in the region,” said Mr Chetan Maini, Deputy Chairman and Chief Technology Officer, RECC.

The car, which was officially launch by the President of Costa Rica, Mr Oscar Arias, would be imported from India and distributed by Vehiculo Electricos Company in the country.

Mr. Arias said, “It is nice that REVA chose Costa Rica to launch in Central America, since this is country with a tradition of environmental protection.”

REVA is the brand of the REVA Electric Car Company, a joint venture between Maini Group of India and AEV LLC of California.
