Luxury car makers are give huge discounts to clear their inventory. The luxury car makers like BMW, Mercedes are getting ready launch the facelifted version of their models and the dealers are providing discounts ranging from Rs 1 Lakh to Rs 4 Lakh on models to clear the inventory.

Daimler Benz-owned Mercedes Benz is currently offering a direct cash discount of Rs.2.5 Lakh on the current E-Class, with the interest-free finance scheme. The upgrade version will be costlier than the current models which are expected to be launched by early next year.

On the other side, BMW is offering a direct Rs 3 Lakh to Rs 4 Lakh discount on the previous version of the 3-Series that was launch in January this year but later phased out by the company.

Volkswagen is also offering a package that includes discounts from Rs 80000 to Rs 100,000 on the older version of the Passat Sedan and cut in insurance payout, reduced interest rate and a direct cash discount.

However these offers would reach the customer with certain condition. Autohangar, the authorised dealers of Mercedes-Benz cars, has laid down special criteria for consumers availing of the offer.

The offer on the E-Class is valid only till the end of the current month and also customers can avail of finance of up to Rs 30 Lakh for three years to benefit from the zero per cent finance scheme.

If the customer wants financing beyond Rs 30 Lakh for a higher-end model of the E class (the discount is the same), the interest rate would be 3 to 4 per cent a year for a three-year loan.
