Porsche Importer Precision Cars India has got a limited number of Porsche Cayenne Diesel for the Indian market.
Porsche Cayenne Diesel is the first diesel car from the Porsche stable, launched recently at the Geneva Motor Show 2009.
Sharing the news, Mr. Rod Wallace, Managing Director - Precision Cars India, said “The Cayenne Diesel is intended primarily for the European market but we saw a tremendous demand for the car from all over India.”
As with any Porsche model, annual production is limited and we will have only 19 cars coming to India in 2009, added Mr. Wallace.
Porsche Cayenne Diesel will get the same exteriors but under the hood it will get a V6 gasoline engine. It will also cater with a 3 Litres, the extra-smooth and refined V6 power units generates 240Bhp and 550Nm at 2009 rpm. The SUV can push till 214 Km/h as a top speed. The base price for the new Porsche Cayenne Diesel is Rs 6495000 inclusive of the import duties and taxes.
