Mercedes Benz, German Luxury carmaker today said it has launched a Limited Edition of its E-Class cars in India. The Mercedes Benz E-Class Limited Edition is priced at Rs 43.4 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).

“Mercedes-Benz E-Class is clearly the most sought after luxury car and we have sold over 16,000 units of this car since its India launch in 1996. The Special Edition E-Class will be a collector’s item: a luxurious, powerful and exclusive Mercedes-Benz with even more sporty and aggressive styling,” Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur said in a statement.

Mercedes Benz has produced a limited number of 192 units in this edition, and would come with a three-litre diesel engine.

Apart from that the car also sports additional design, trim and style enhancements to give it a special aura, some which include changes to the headlights, grille and six different colour options.

The Special Edition features 17 inch 5-double-spoke light-alloy wheels highlighting the sportiness of the car, the LED technology tail-lights add the necessary glitter value as well as aid in safety for they offer a heightened amount of visibility to the following car. The plush interiors of the Mercedes E Class Special Edition are now treated to an exclusive touch with the fine detailing of the bird’s eye maple wood trim to enhance that opulent feel. The driver gets a new multi function wood/leather steering wheel and an all new instrument cluster design.

Priced at Rs. 43.4 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi, the Special Edition E-Class will be retailed on demand through Mercedes-Benz Dealerships across the country.
