As we already said earlier about the Diesel Santro for India, Hyundai Motors India is currently phased out the decade old Santro small car from its stable after it introduced the i10 but the company is also selling the Santro on account of good response.
Hyundai has made it clear that it will launch the facelifted Santro by the end of current year. The company will reveal the facelifted Santro with minimal changes ending up only with styling and the engine will not be touched further.
Hyundai has already sold the existing Santro in India from September 98′ to 984418 units in the domestic market. We believe the price of the facelifted Santro might remain the same.
