Fiat Panda 1.5 Millionth Units Produced At Poland Facility - Will It Be In India?

Fiat Poland has recently manufactured its 1.5-millionth Panda car in its plant in Tychy, in Poland. The manufacturing facility produces Panda since 2003, will manufacture 600000 cars in 2009, of which around 50% will be Panda units.

Fiat Panda is one of the best selling A-Segment model in Europe and Pandas produced at the Fiat Auto Poland plant are exported to more than 70 countries, including Japan, South Africa, Mexico, Italy, Germany and the UK.
Fiat Panda is geared with 1.1L, 1.2L and 1.4L petrol and 1.3L diesel engines. Why doesn’t Fiat get it over here in India?
Fiat Panda is priced between Rs 5-7 lakhs in Europe based on the variant. Will it come to India, what you say?
