Toyota Corolla Launched In Spain With 1.33 Dual VVT-i & 1.4L 4D4 Diesel Engine
Toyota has recently launched its Corolla model with 1.33 dual VVT-i and a new 1.4 D4D diesel engine in Spain. The 1.33 dual VVT-I engine that is matted to the iQ and now can also be seen under the hood of the Corolla (Corolla Altis In India)
Toyota’s new diesel 1.4L 4D4 engine geared with piezoelectric injectors and the petrol version gets a start-stop system which cuts off fuel supply when the engine is idling for long.
Toyota’s 1.33 Dual VVT-i engine produces 101HP and consumes 5.8 liters per 100 km with CO2 of 136 g/km.
Toyota’s new 1.4L 4D4 diesel engine generates 90HP with a peak torque of 205Nm at 2800 rpm. Emissions are reduced to 122 g / km with a combined consumption of 4.6 liters per 100km. It is geared with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Toyota has geared with two variants for the Corolla called the Live Basic and Active.
