Volkswagen is currently planning to launch the new R20 with the same 2.0-L turbocharged engine which is already doing its job on the Golf R32 that delivers 270HP and 353Nm of Torque.
Volkswagen might equip either with six speeds or semiautomatic box DSG. The car pushes from 0 to 100 somewhere between 5.0 - 5.5 seconds with a maximum speed of around 250 km/h.
Volkswagen will offer the R20 with three door version, and then a 5-door might be there on the cards.

2010 Volkswagen R20 will be official presented at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto show, sales may begin in December.
