India Yamaha To Launch Scooters In The Next Three Years

Yamaha India is setting up to launch scooters in India within three years of time from now.
Yukimine Tsuji, CEO of India Yamaha Motor, said that, “India has 1.2 million units a year scooter market, so it has a huge potential. We have plans to enter the scooter segment in another three years or so”.
Yamaha has planned to double its export model than last years and also planning to increase its current 400 dealers to 500 dealers in India. The company is watching very keen to reach the rural areas to increase its sales numbers.
After the company launched the Limited Edition of Fazer and FZ series models in India, Tsuji said “Our 150cc+ bikes - R15, FZ series and Fazer - have been successful in major metros including Kolkata. Now we want to replicate the same success story in smaller towns as well.”
India Yamaha is running new campaigns very often to attract customers and provide value to customers.
