Hero Honda Aims To Launch More Models On The Top-End Segment

Hero Honda launched the new Karizma ZMR FI model couple of weeks back and now the company claims that they will launch more model in the upper-end of the market.
Hero Honda that dominates around 59% of the domestic bike market in India and have a very strong hold at the lower-end, said it will continue to strengthen its portfolio in the premium segment.
“We have been making attempts to increase our share in the premium segment of the bike market, which is bikes above 150cc. Numbers for us have been rising here and we have seen sales volume of our premium bikes treble over the last three years,” Hero Honda marketing head Anil Dua said.
Hero Honda currently own five bikes in the premium segment and Mr. Dua said “launch of new models and entry of new players had seen demand for premium models going up the fastest in bike market”.
