Bajaj Discover 100cc Has Succeeded Like Pulsar

Bajaj Auto launched the new Discover 100cc bike couple of months back and it received a tremendous response that sold two lakhs units since launch.
Some time back, Bajaj Auto was planning to discontinue all its 100cc bikes and after its launch the company has received overwhelming response and it currently chasing close to Hero Honda sales figure.
Bajaj Auto’s vice-president (sales and marketing), S Sridhar said that the company got tremendous response from customers after the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 180cc (May, 2009) and Bajaj Discover 100cc in July 2009. The market share of the company moved up from 17 per cent in the second half of FY 2008-09 to 28 per cent at present. In the same way, average monthly sales of 100cc bikes increased from 23,000 units in the second half of FY 2008-09 to 90,000 at present.
