Mahindra FirstChoice Targets 1 Lakh Used Cars To Be Sold By 2014

Mahindra & Mahindra, Indian automaker is currently aiming to sell more than one lakh used cars in India through its Firstchoice by 2014. Mahindra is promoting used cars where the market is huge and growing day by day.
“The Mahindra Firstchoice has 60 outlets across India and it sold 10250 units of used cars in Indian market last year and it is expected that it will sell more than 18,000 units of used cars this year, out of which more than 9,000 cars have already been sold.” said Shubhabrata Saha, CEO, Mahindra First Choice Ltd.
He added that “the company would open more than 300 outlets in Indian market by 2014″.
According to Shubhabrata, “used cars have market of 1.5 million units of vehicle in a year and it is growing with 20 percent of annual growth. There is a tremendous potential for this used car market, with more people coming forward to buy used cars, particularly in Tamil Nadu, he added.
