Land Rover, Jaguar XF Achieved Good Sales In October
Tata Motor’s Land Rover and Jaguar registered good numbers in October month sales after the initial struggle which incurred last year. Land Rover registered a respectable growth in the month of October with sale of 2,855 units in its key market such as the UK, Russia, China and India.
In the UK JLR spokesman said “The October sales figures for both Jaguar and Land Rover do suggest some level of stabilisation in certain markets, most notably the UK. Sales in China, which is now Jaguar Land Rover’s fourth largest market, are also encouraging”
“Given that Land Rover constitutes a significant component of the overall business, its performance will help improve JLR’s financial performance,” said Rakesh Batra, national leader – automotive practice, Ernst & Young.
John Edwards, managing director, Land Rover UK said: “(The October numbers) prove the importance of having new products in an ever competitive market.”
Sale in UK has lifted in the month of September and October. After the melt down, most of the automobile giants went through bumpy roads. This incline in the sale should definitely be a good sign.
