Audi reported that a growth of 59% from Jan to Nov 2009 counted at 1550 cars compared to 974 cars in same time period last year.

Audi India has counter attacked their expected sales figure of 1500 cars in the whole year and now they have achieved more than that. Audi claims that in the month of November 2009, the company has registered a tremendous growth of 12% compared to 90 in the November 2008.

Benoit Tiers, managing director, Audi India said, “With good sales in November, we have not only achieved the target we had set ourselves at the start of the year, but well exceeded it. Our increasing sales reflect the growing familiarity and wide acceptance that Audi has managed to cultivate for itself in India. Our core brand philosophy of ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ combined with the motivation provided by this record sales figure will encourage us to further delight our customers.”

Audi India has witnessed a good progress after it launched the new models including the new Audi A6, Audi Q5 and the new Audi Q7. At the same time they also introduced three new engines for its existing Audi A4 range and the new dealers that attracted a huge success for them.
