As we reported earlier, Tata Motors will launch the most awaited facelifted Sumo Grande model today in India called the Tata Sumo Grande MK2.
Tata Motors will not replace any new engine to the facelifted model as to see where it can improve at the exterior and the interior level to increase the sales among its rivals as Toyota and Mahindra dominates the bunch.
Tata Sumo Grande Mk2 will feature the following:
- New clutch plate material
- Dual caliper front disc brakes
- Wheels from Tata Safari
- Modified center console
- Indicators incorporated on mirrors
- Rub rails
- Foot rests in black
- New seat fabric
- Beige dashboard
- Floating horn
- New steering wheel borrowed from Indica Vista
- Different gear lever, shifting is noticeably smooth
- Grab handles provided for third row seats
- Cooling glass holder
- USB charging point for iPod
- Chrome on the front grille
- New badges
