Bugatti Veyron To Be Launched In India By Mid-2010
Volkswagen AG will launch the fastest and luxury car, Bugatti Veyron in India by Mid-2010.
As we all know, Bugatti Veyron can hit the top speed more than 400kmph for both sports and coupe models that will carry a price tag around Rs 5 crore to 12 crore when it hits Indian shore.
Volkswagen, which has become the world’s largest carmaker with its takeover of Porsche, will import Bugatti cars.
Kurt Rippolz, head of communication Volkswagen India, refused to confirm the development. “It’s the independent decision of every brand to decide on the India strategy. The brand checks on the viability and whether there is a market potential, and then decides on its launch plans,” he said.
India will touch the 10000 mark in 2010 on its premium car sales as the second world’s fastest growing car market.
Volkswagen recently launched the new Beetle and yet to launch the Polo Hatchback in 2010.
