Mercedes Benz India will launch the new C250 CGI in India during the upcoming 2010 Delhi Auto Expo. The new C250 CGI from Mercedes will sport a new-generation petrol motor that is married to a 1796cc turbocharged direct injection petrol engine and will be the first of Mercedes CGI motors to be sold in India.

Mercedes had kept this technology engines for our Indian market due to fuel quality and now this will introduce us to get more power than 200bhp as well as greater fuel efficiency.

Mercedes Benz 1796cc petrol that generates a max power of 204bhp and 31.6kgm of torque and needle touches a top speed of 240kph and reach 0-100kph from standstill in 7.4 seconds.

Mercedes new technology advantages are that its Piezo injectors can manage multiple injections, just like a diesel. So when the motor is not loaded, it will burn little fuel in a massive amount of air as part of a non-homogeneous mixture and sometimes it is called “Lean Burn” and the C-class can do this even it run on 120kph that will lower up to 10% of petrol consumption.

Mercedes Benz has done a significant change that has improved the low engine speed torque to deliver both high fuel efficiency as well as acceleration.
