[2010 Delhi Auto Expo]: Maruti today displayed the new innovative concept named as Maruti R3 Concept based on MPV at the Delhi Auto Expo.

Maruti R3 Concept is based on the SX4 platform and sports a six-seater. It will directly fight against the Toyota Innova.

Maruti R3 Concept will be in reality from 18-24 months and will be powered by Maruti Suzuki’s K-Series petrol engine both 1.2L and 1.4L variants. There is also a possibility to get the Fiat’s 1.3-litre diesel under the hood.

VW recently bought stake from Suzuki and thus possible to get engines from the VW into the R3 Concept. Check out the pictures after this jump.
