[2010 Delhi Auto Expo]: Volkswagen today launches the much awaited Polo hatch in India at the Auto expo in Delhi.

Volkswagen has launched this popular hatch in three different variants including:

• Polo TrendLine
• Polo ComfortLine
• Polo HighLine

Volkswagen Polo comes in two different engines including Petrol and Diesel.

Volkswagen Polo petrol engine sports a 1.2-L that generates 75bhp @ 5400rpm and 110Nm @ 3750rpm of torque.

Volkswagen Polo diesel engine sports a 1.2-L that produces 75bhp @ 4200rpm and 180Nm @ 2000rpm or torque.

“The Polo stands for German engineering and top technology. It is lively young cosmopolitan made in India car,” said by Jochem Heizmann, Volkswagen AG Member of the Board of management.

Volkswagen Polo Features:

• 15 inch alloy wheels
• ABS
• Dual air bags
• CD and MP3 player with 4 speakers
• Height adjustable driver seat
• Power steering
• Central locking
• Unique boot opener

Volkswagen Polo will be readily available from this March onwards.
