[2010 Delhi Auto Expo]: TVS Motors displays the first made in India bike with ABS technology. TVS Motors has showcased the Apache RTR ABS and will be launched soon in India.

TVS Motors Apache RTR 180 with ABS has taken the segment to another level and it is always better to escape from chances of an emergency situation which demands hard braking if the rider over brakes, there is a possibility of the wheel getting locked and the bike slipping out of control. Things get even worse when roads are wet and slippery.

Apache RTR ABS, developed in collaboration with Continental AG, Germany (pioneer in chassis control systems for passenger cars and leading bikes like the BMW), is equipped with an advanced Hydraulic-Electronic  Control Unit (HECU) and a patented speed sensing technology that continuously monitors the wheel speed of the bike. As the remote possibility of the wheel getting locked, the computer will sense the risk and modulate the hydraulic pressure in the braking system, to avoid an impending wheel lock or loss of control.
