Volkswagen Rolls Out 11,111,111 Polo From Pune Facility
Volkswagen India recently produced its 11,111,111th Polo from the Pune facility. The manufacturing units are modern and include all levels of process from press shop, body shop and paint shop to final assembly.
Volkswagen Pune plant was opened in the year 2009 and keeping in mind for its future growth within the Indian subcontinent.

At the event, German President toured the new Volkswagen plant in Maharashtra along with 30-high ranking representatives from politics and industry attended.
The company has committed to invest about $ 800 million USD that will be the largest investment to date by a German company in India. The company will also employ 2500 people locally by the end of 2010.
