GM E-Spark Batteries Finalized

GM India has completed its dealing to ship in batteries for its e-Spark from India. In the past the company has decided to bring it from China or Japan but as per the new talk with the local vendors the company has initiated and prepared a formal agreement to be finalized by this June, sad the VP for corporate affairs of GM India.

The company plans to get two battery options including lead acid and lithium ion for its e-Spark model.
GM has already in the line to get the technical from the Bangalore based Reva Electric for manufacturing the battery car but the battery from Reva. The company is exploring all possibilities to bring in lithium ion battery for the proposed launch of e-Spark in October, he said.
