Mahindra & Mahindra is very aggressive as other strong players to capture the highest market share in any segment it launches these vehicles but anyway Innova rules the MPV segment and Xylo could able to get a bit of share from the segment.
Mahindra planning to launch not 3 or 6, 10 vehicles in India lined up for the next 2 years. The list of vehicles followed by
- Xylo Mini
- World SUV W201
- Refreshed Scorpio
- Maxximo Passenger version
- Gio Passenger Van
- Ssangyong Korando
- Ssangyong Rexton
- and Few trucks
These numbers of models should capture a good two digit % market share in India if marketed very well. These models will also be exported to other countries as well.
Mahindra World SUV Codenamed W201 might be showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo to expose itself at the biggest auto expo for the Indian market. It is believed that the company will launch the World SUV during 3rd Quarter of 2012 near the festive season.
“With the new SUV, we will be moving up the chain. This will be a completely new vehicle on a brand new platform and will be launched by the third quarter of this calendar year,” Goenka said.
Mahindra Maxximo passenger variant is already ready to be launched in India.
