Premier Ltd is all set to launch authorized service stations across the country for Rio. The company is looking at getting close to 200 authorized service stations set up by June 2012. The ‘Rio’ received good response at the 11th Auto Expo. The company has confirmed they received new dealership applications as well. The new ‘Premier Authorized Service Stations’, branded as ‘PASS’ will help the company ramp-up its after sales service network in India. Currently the company has around 50 dealers and will be adding 30 more dealers takings its overall dealership strength
to 80 by June 2012. By the year end the company is targeting 100 dealerships and 300 service stations for easy service and repair in all major markets.
One of the questions that pop-up in a consumer’s mind is the availability and cost of spares? The company has indicated that spares will be clearly looked as customer service and not as not as a profit centre. The spares cost is considerably much lower that other vehicles. The company will be looking at providing a flawless relationship with their customers. Premier has been in the passenger vehicle’s business for over 60 years. They have a strong understanding of after service and parts distribution. The company has a tie-up also with ‘India Assistance’ to provide 24×7 breakdown service.
