Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire Tour has been launched in India. The DZire Tour has been introduced in stripped-down model to enter the corporate and taxi segment in India. The old Swift DZire is out in taxi avatar and now available in two variants including the Lxi petrol and Ldi diesel variants. The Swift DZire Tour has been priced at a fixed price tag at Rs 4.88 lakh while the diesel Swift DZire Tour is out for sale for Rs 5.91 lakh (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
The Swift DZire Tour will be stripped down with features including the chrome pulled out from the grille and on many parts and body-coloured bumpers and regular all-black units to cut down costs. Coming to the interiors, the Swift DZire Tour will be offered in a cheaper material so it can be used it out in the taxi segment. Apart from this, the DZire tour get the air-conditioned and power steering systems in it.
The Swift DZire Tour is offered with the same larger 440-litre boot compared to the newer version which has 316 litres and which will draw a good one over the fleet operators. Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager-Marketing, Maruti Suzuki said, “Fleet and Taxi customers are a crucial part of our business. Maruti Suzuki vehicles have been appreciated especially by the fleet customers for their low Cost of Ownership and high fuel efficiency. The Dzire Tour will continue to meet this important need of the customers.”
