We recently reported that Triumph to enter India with mass bike segment and now Autocar has reported that Ashish Joshi, MD of Triumph India operation has resigned from his position. Paul Stroud, Director of Sales and Marketing along with Steve Sargent, Director of Emerging Markets and Overall Product Strategy will take car of the Indian set-up and operations.
Triumph did show the list of Motorcycles that are lined-up to be launched in India during the upcoming festive season price ranging from Rs 5.5 lakhs to Rs 23 lakhs.
Triumph India will first launch 3-4 dealerships at Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and sometime later it will enter Chandigarh.
The company will increase dealership outlet across India to 10-12 in three years to enter every possible city it thinks it’s viable to have a dealership to increase its sales.
