It all started when Hormazd Sorabjee editor from Auto car magazine, tweet’s that Mahindra & Mahindra is working on a all new Scorpio code named W105 which would roll out of the showroom floors in 2014. He also mentions that the new mahindra scorpio would continue having the same ladder frame chassis but bigger and more spacious. This would no doubtfully be another promising hit from Mahindra & Mahindra. The new vehicle is expected to house the same M-Hawk engine which would be boosted with more power and better mileage.
Since its launch ten years back, the Scorpio was an instant hit, known for its rigid structure and manly appeal it wooed many customers to buy the vehicle. This proved to be better than its rival the Tata Safari. Later the vehicle was introduced with a much efficient M-Hawk series engine which was much efficient and economical suiting the emission norms. Mahindra & Mahindra has taken all of these factors in account and started developing the 2014 Scorpio in its new research facility in Chennai known as Mahindra Research Valley (MRV). This new vehicle is expected to overcome the drawbacks of the current ongoing vehicle which has lesser leg room in the rear. The new M-Hawk series going into the all new 2014 Scorpio is expected to produce a lot more power than the existing model and complain with the emission norms. Mahindra would look upon keen areas to shed the Scorpio’s weight to keep the vehicle lighter and much more fuel efficient.
The Scorpio could get class rich features and elegant interiors from the XUV 500. Overall this new Scorpio could be a promising wait from Mahindra’s stable.
