Renault’s strategy is to take one step at a time

Renault India is currently taking one step at a time to enter the new entry car project from India. The company which is currently doing its preliminary study to launch a car priced around Rs 3-lakh. The Renault’s small car is the key growth driver in a market where affordability is still a key factor. Mr. Gerard Detourbet is currently in-charge for the entry car strategy at Renault for many years now. Mr Carlos Tavares, Chief Operating Officer, said, Gerard Detourbet who has tremendous skills to drive the strategy below the entry car to be offered at a competitive price.

Renault engineering centre in Chennai will be playing a vital role in the project who will understand the entire project on how to design things that meet ones needs perfectly instead of a little bit more or less. If all goes well, the car will also enter other international markets including Brazil, Russia, Indonesia and South Africa.
