Micra was the first small hatchback that was offered by Nissan in India. It attracted quite a lot of consumers towards it and still is one of the most preferred hatchback car in India. When it was launched it attracted the ‘Y generation’ more because of its sporty and funky looks and features. So Nissan choose Ranbir Kapoor as their brand ambassador because he could easily draw the attention of Young generation towards him for obvious reasons.
Nissan Micra Primo Ranbir Kapoor special edition
Now after 2 years of its launch Nissan has dedicated a limited edition of Micra to Ranbir Kapoor himself also to be called as Nissan Micra Primo. The overall exterior of the car remains unchanged except few added decals and cool looking stickers at the side profile of the hatchback and a stylish LED lamps on the rear view mirror. It also gets a parking sensors at the rear of the car. The main changes are made inside the car, the special edition has been added with a DIN Kenwood stereo with an USB and also with Bluetooth, but Primo won’t be getting any color option for the car it will only get a pearl white as the only option. But it will get both the engine options petrol as well as the Diesel. The special trim will be available in variants like XV, XL for petrol version and XV diesel and XV premium diesel also.
Nissan Micra primo is powered by a 1.2L, 1198cc, DOHC petrol engine , which has 12 valve, and 3 cylinder, engine with EFI system(electronic fuel injection control) which generates 76 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. Nissan Micra Primo diesel have a 1.5 litre, SOHC, 1461cc, 8 valve, and 4 cylinder, CRP (common rail powerplant) which generates 64 PS of maximum power at 4000 rpm and 160 NM of torque at 2000 rpm.
Micra Primo will be available only after paying Rs. 22000 extra above normal road price and will be available from the festive season.
