Mahindra India’s premium auto maker is geared to launch its splendid 300cc bike Mojo during the next fiscal, and the company also announce the release of the variants of scooter series that would also thrill the consumers in India. Anoop Mathur, President of two-wheeler sector and member of the group executive board on the preview of 110cc bikes said ‘we are currently going through clinical testing phases for the engine. We are confident of finalising its launch next fiscal.’
The company is undertaking many trials and testing’s of the engine, vehicle and composite to ensure the product meets certain compliant standards before it zooms the road, said Mathur. The two-wheeler industry of Mahindra considers manufacturing new models of scooter variants by the third quarter of next fiscal said Mathur and within two weeks, the company will introduce a variant of the powerful scooter Rodeo. ‘We want to stand out across many segments and ranges. Our plan currently is to emerge with powerful models of scooters and motor cycles consistently for the next three to five years’’… said Mathur.
The company has ventured into the amazing 110 cc models in the motorcycle segment with the introduction of two characteristic featured bikes such as the Pantero and Centuro recently that would spark the consumers with its spectacular design before March 2013. Mathur also plans to have a considerable exposure in the motorcycle exports market and start focussing on the overhead procedures of shipping the bikes within this fiscal.
The company earlier commented on the two models, Pantero and Centuro being manufactured at the established Mahindra R&D centre in Pune along with the manufacture of the powerful MCI-5 engine at the reputed Pithampur factory in Madhya Pradesh. The excellent product outcome can be contributed to the grand Rs. 100 crore investments in the research and development of products.
