Ritz Automatic variant launched in India

Maruti Suzuki India is making things more interesting for its potent customers. The automobile giant has introduced a new automatic version of its popular Ritz model. The pocket pinch for this new model is expected to be Rs. 6.43 lacs (Mumbai). Ritz automatic boasts of a powerful 1.2-litre K12 petrol engine along with a 4-speed torque converter gearbox. So far, Maruti Suzuki is supposed to make only the petrol version of the car, which states a fuel efficiency of 17.16kmpl.

The plus point of this car as well as the highlight for the buyers would definitely be the advantages of the automatic gearbox. Ritz new avatar is putting it in the same club of the other cars with auto box option from the automobile giant, such as Swift Dzire, SX4 automatic and A-star. Ritz automatic also gets a revamped look with the help of a new front grille, headlights fog lamps, attractive bumpers. The interior of the car is also changed to match its smart exterior. This includes features like, new audio system with USB, driver seat adjuster, dual tone upholstery, etc.

Currently the Ritz is available in petrol and 1.3 Liter turbo diesel engine variants. However, none of the petrol or diesel engine variants have auto boxes and instead have a 5 speed manual gearbox. Priced well over 6 lacs, Ritz automatic is expected to face stern competition from cars Hyundai i10 automatic (starting Rs. 6.16 lacs), Hyundai Brio automatic (Rs. 5.74 lacs above), both of which are quite popular in the market. Ritz automatic can be good choice owing to its hassle free maintenance and superior fuel efficiency. Maruti Suzuki has been the ideal choice of customers for decades, and following the constant success that the company has seen with its Ertiga and Alto 800, Ritz is also expected to make its mark in the market.
