The latest Continental GT3 makes its first worldwide appearance in front of the viewers on 12th July, Friday at Goodwood.
Displaying the potential that is found in the DNA of each Continental GT, the GT3 is indeed the most exciting of the iconic Tourer ever. It has an enormous power rooted in it. The ultimate speed of 208 meters per hour makes GT Bentley’s fastest production, so far. The twin turbo engine has an amazing acceleration capability of 0-60 mph in four seconds.
Two of the members of the GT3 group will be joining the show in Goodwood. Juha Kankkunen, 4-times World Rally Champion will be driving the Continental GT speed car over the well-known hill climb of Goodwood for three days.
The speed 8 racers who were the active participants of the 10th anniversary celebration of Bentley 1-2 finish back in 2003, will be reappearing in the new race. The 10th anniversary was celebrated in Le Mans, France in 2003.
The number 7 racer will be Guy Smith while the number 8 will be taken by David Brabham. They will be targeting uphill in their formation during the race. This suggestive show memorializes the previous British victory in Le Mans, France, where the cars had covered 3,196 miles over the course of the event. The average speed of 133 mph (214 km/h) was recorded in the event.
Derek Bell MBE is a fifth time winner and is fully prepared again to take part in the event. He would be speeding up the fastest 4 seat convertible in the world which runs at 325 kilometers per hour. GT Speed Convertible is the highest according to Derek.
Derek commented “It is a matter of pride and a great honor to be back to Goodwood with Bentley. It is a pleasure for me to drive a 616 BHP convertible in the hill. The festival in the year 2013 will be an unforgettable one.” The GT Speed Convertible has a vivacious frame setup, increased power along with a host of delicate yet characteristic styling indications.
The new Bentley show is going to be one of its kind in the history. It is going to display a complete range of Bentley vehicles that includes the new Flying Spur. It has a great W12 engine and a cabin which is better than the previous model. It is a wonderful combination of impressive performance and excellent alteration.
