Porsche 918 Spyder unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The motor is well coordinated with 7-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) that assures you a hassle free, dreamy ride, every time you wish to take one.

The amazing new model of Porsche offers Porsche Active Aerodynamic i.e. a program of adjustable aerodynamic elements, assuring distinguished and variable aerodynamics. The layout of is varied mechanically over three different modes varying from optimal for maximum down force. It is set to the operational modes of the hybrid drive program.

Race mode: The sheathable rear wing of Porsche 918 Spyder is regulated at a steep angle to produce at the rear axle. Located between the wings, the spoiler assists the trailing edge of the airflow to extend and leads to the production of the high ground effect.

Sport mode: the aerodynamic controlling program diminishes the rear wing’s attack angle allowing a higher top speed. The spoilers expand reducing the aerodynamic drag and increasing the speed of the vehicle.

E-Power mode: The control is set for the functioning of the aerodynamic drag. The spoiler as well as the rear wings is covered and the under floor flaps are locked. The adaptive aerodynamic system is completed with the adjustable air inlets.
