The 2016 Innova captured again with many more interesting discoveries

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is working on a new 2016 Innova, the car was caught testing in Bangalore, the competition levels in Indian auto market has become intense. Innova has ruled the multi-purpose vehicle segment since inception in 2004, although an exceptionally popular car, there is a rivalry heat surrounding it. Honda recently launched Mobilio MPV, its first MPV project for Indian market, it is in huge demand, in just a week post launch, the booking figures have surged past the 10,000 mark. It is also the second highest best seller in 2014 August, Mobilio along with Amaze are key contributors to 88.8% profit surge during the period.

To beat the Mobilio battle heat, Toyota is developing the 2016 Innova on lines of new design and technology at the established Bidadi factory in Karnataka. The development is based on a novel ladder-frame chassis, the car will be marginally bigger that the current model along with increased interior space. The car was snapped recently and the spotlight of the capturing was C-Pillar, and an interesting discovery made was the styling of the rear door is similar to present Innova.

The 2016 Innova will have refreshed interiors and exteriors, on the exterior front the newness is visible on the bumper, headlights, fog light holder, wheel arches. The interior modifications are visible on dashboard, and the modifications are not too distinctive on switches, instrument cluster, steering and controller knobs. Apart from getting to view a new form of Innova inscribed on exteriors and interiors, there is going to be a new diesel engine likely to be paired with automatic and manual transmission.

The 2016 Innova will emit new form of Innova originality , apart from Mobilio, it is a huge threat to Maruti Ertiga, Tata Aria, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia. The expected price range is Rs 9 to 15 lakhs and the likely arrival date is early 2016, Innova is commonly referred to as ‘People’s Car, it has carried the nuclear family system in India for a decade. The 2016 car will have higher levels of modernity and will certainly set the competition bar at a higher level.
