A new set of spy pictures show a Hyundai Creta compact SUV’s test prototype without any veils. This test mule seems to be close to the actual production model, thus no changes or bare minimum changes are expected in the vehicle that is set to launch in the Indian market next month.

Hyundai Creta is a global compact SUV that is based on the ix25 which has been selling since last year in China. As per the spy shots, the Creta looks exactly the same as the ix25 SUV excepting very few subtle details in chrome. These subtle differences in the Creta’s exterior design comprise of a chrome finished radiator grille as against the grey slats of the ix25, and a radiant chrome trim at the rear, above the number plate.

While the petrol motor will be equipped with a 5 speed manual gearbox, both the diesel mills will paired to a 6 speed transmission. Automatic transmission choices are also expected.
