Only a while ago some spy pictures of the upcoming Hero Hunk were snapped during its test runs. The test mule was camouflaged and didn’t reveal much of the upgrades but the overall stance of motorcycle told us that it is a Hero Hunk. Now, the upcoming motorcycle from the country’s largest motorcycle manufacturer has been spotted once again and this time the pictures completely reveal the new features as the test mule was undisguised.
It can be seen in the pictures that not much has been changed in the facelift Hero Hunk. Overall the design and style of the motorcycle remains more or less the same as its predecessor. Hero has done some subtle changes to provide a refresh look to the Hunk. There are a few updated body graphics which make the Hunk look a bit new but apart from that there’s nothing much that we could see to talk about.
There is a slightly modified instrument cluster which still depicts the one on the current model. The analog rev meter occupies the center space of the console while an analog fuel gauge sits on the left of the rev meter and on the right we get a digital meter. The fuel gauge looks out of place and pretty outdated. It doesn’t make the bike look premium. Hero should have done some thinking over it to make some more design changes and could have made this a better looking console.
The rest of the physical aspects of the motorcycle are similar to what we have seen on the current Hero Hunk. Hero has also increased the power output of the facelift Hero Hunk. The motorcycle will continue to be powered by a 149.2 cc, single cylinder air cooled engine but now it will produce 15.6 bhp. It is the same power figure which the updated Hero Xtreme Sport produces.
Well, as the test mule was caught undisguised it would be fair to say that this could be the production ready model of the upcoming Hero Hunk. The launch dates and prices are still unknown but we are expecting Hero to launch the motorcycle pretty soon, maybe around the festive season. As per the price is concerned, the updated Hero Hunk would be a tad bit costlier than the current model. Stay tuned for future updates on the same.
