Honda Launches The New CB Shine SP

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched a new product in the Indian motorcycle market. This is the company’s 15th product that it has unveiled this year. Well, this new product is the all new Honda CB Shine SP which takes space in the 125cc segment of motorcycles.

Mr. Y. S. Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said that with over 43 Lac happy customers, the legacy of Shine is undisputed. Though CB Shine enjoys 46% market share, Honda’s plan is to further strengthen its leadership position in 125 cc segment. Honda is extending the family with this Pride and what it is showcasing is the next step of this legacy – loaded with additional features making it very special.

The new Honda CB Shine SP has been wrapped up with a few new features to make the rider special. The headlight and the visor have been slightly redesigned to make the bike attractive and modern. Also, the new stylish graphics at the front cowl and fuel tank adds a lively feeling to the motorcycle. Honda has also modified the instrument cluster of the new CB Shine SP. The combination of 5-split alloy wheels with discs adds to its distinctiveness while the strong 2-piece designed modern muffler leaves a lasting impression.

Honda has also installed its Combi-Brake System in the new CB Shine SP. Also the advanced Honda Engine Technology (HET) also makes its way in this bike. Powering the new CB Shine SP is a 125cc single cylinder, air cooled engine that is joined with a 5-speed gearbox which has helped Honda to reduce vibrations especially at high speeds. Honda claims that this engine is the most refined one in its category and it returns a fuel efficiency of 65 kpl.

The new Honda CB Shine SP comes with tubeless tyres, longer seat, longer wheelbase and an increased ground clearance. Honda has done these changes to make sure that the bike is highly comfortable even during long rides. The new bike is available in five stunning colors – Geny Grey Metalic, Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Black and Rebel Red Metallic.

The new Honda CB Shine SP is available in three variants and is priced as follows:

1) Honda CB Shine SP (Self-Drum-Alloy) – Priced at Rs 59,900

2) Honda CB Shine SP (Self-Disc-Alloy) – Priced at Rs 62,400

3) Honda CB Shine SP (CBS) – Priced at Rs 64,400
