Bajaj Auto, one of country’s largest two wheeler manufacturer, has released a teaser video of its new V-Range of motorcycles. The video has been released on 26th Jan 2016 on the occasion of Republic Day. Bajaj Auto says that its new V-Range will be unveiled on 1st Feb 2016. Every launch or unveiling from Bajaj Auto always excites us but what is the most interesting part of V-Range is that it is going to be made from the metal parts of INS Vikrant!
INS Vikrant is India’s first aircraft carrier which guarded our seas for decades. However, it was decommissioned in 2014 and turned into scrap. Bajaj Auto will use this scrap metal to manufacture its V-Range of bikes. Quite interesting and patriotic, we’d say.
At present there are no details regarding the specifications of the V-Range. But a slight silhouette has been revealed in the teaser video and according to that we think that the bike could be powered by a 150cc engine. The double-five spoke alloy wheels can be clearly seen and also a front disc brake. We think the rear would feature a drum brake or a disc brake could also be offered as an option. We really love the INS Vikrant Logo with the anchor! Maybe it will sit on the fuel tank of the bike.
Well, whatever it is, we will have to wait till 1st Feb 2016. Here’s the Teaser video-
