As road safety means a lot more than only accident prevention and the reduction of road confrontations, this training programme aims at enhancing the overall driving skills of a taxi driver in order to improve the entire driving experience. By making the taxi drivers more conscious about the importance of abiding by the traffic rules and making them more passenger friendly, the ‘Safer Roads, Safer You’ programme by Goodyear and IRTE is actually aimed at making the fleet owners’ and taxi operators’ lives easier by training the drivers.
