Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm 2016, one of the most popular rallying events in India, at last was flagged off today among all the excitement and zeal. The Day 1 was extremely spectacular for both the participants and the spectators. While the participants were pushing themselves and their machines to limits and desiring for doing better than the others, the local spectators were enjoying the fast cars passing them by in dust. They were also cheering for the participants. Leg 1 & 2 of the extreme category had two competitive stages of 57 Kms and 24 Kms length around Hanumangarh district, nestled on the banks of the River Ghaggar, also revered by the locals as ancient river Saraswati in the colorful state of Rajasthan.
