Sachin Singh along with his navigator M. Prakash driving their Maruti Swift hatchback led the day 1 of the Maruti Suzuki Mughal Rally, the fourth round of the car major’s National Super League TSD Rally Championship. Singh and Prakash were closely followed by participants Subir Roy and his navigator Nirav Mehta at the second place also driving a Swift. In the third position were Ajgar Ali and navigator M Mustafa driving in the Maruti S-Cross premium compact crossover. All the championship participants successfully concluded the day one of the Mughal rally owing to the great co-operation as well as guidance of the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism.
The car rally was flagged off at the splendid locale of Hari Niwas Palace after which the participants had covered around 350 kilometers traveling through the spectacular backdrop of Muradpur, Rajauri and concluded the round back in Jammu. The rally got the participation from 50 motoring enthusiasts. During the day 1 of the Maruti Suzuki Mughal Rally, one of the most familiar rally team from Jammu, the Backyard Customs attracted a lot of attention as well as acclamations throughout the rally. On the other hand, the only female participant in the rally, Khyati Modi from the Mumbai who was driving in a Maruti Gypsy with navigator Arvind Balan from Bikaner, also received great cheering from the spectators all along the journey.
