The most remarkable change in the new Hyundai Elantra premium sedan is definitely it’s all new design language that has made it look so much more matured and attractive. The new Elantra looks a lot different from its predecessor owing to Hyundai’s new version Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The executive sedan flaunts a new front fascia which gets the company’s signature hexagon shaped and highly stylized front grille with horizontal slats that is complemented with the sharply styled, swept back headlights. The new Hyundai Elantra gets an overall sharper and edgier exterior styling while the general silhouette remains the same. It gets bold character lines running all the way to the tail lights on its sides, which makes the car offer a sleek look, although it is a larger car now. Hyundai has also endowed a set of newly styled alloy wheels as well as broader and more attractively designed tail lights on the new Elantra.
The all new Hyundai Elantra boasts of being underpinned by a new platform, which is sturdier and lighter than before offering more safety and better performance. The 6th generation Elantra is longer as well as wider and the previous model, while height is identical. Bigger dimensions always translate to better interior space, and thus the new Elantra will also offer the same as against its predecessor. On the inside, the new Hyundai Elantra boasts of everything premium that you can wish from it. The sedan offers a long list of equipments something that Hyundai is known for. Its feature list includes plush leather upholstery, a large 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB and AUX-In connectivity, dual zone climate control and electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats among many others.
The all new Hyundai Elantra petrol gets a new 2.0 Liter petrol mill at its heart. This petrol engine is capable of generating 152 PS of power and 186.32 Nm of torque. The new Elantra’s diesel avatar comes packed with the same 1.6 liter from the outgoing model that delivers 128 PS and 260 Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic gearbox options on the new-gen model.
