As the recently spied test prototype of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson SUV was snapped up very close at a parking lot, these latest lot of spy shots offer a very clear look at the vehicle which offer greater details on what to expect in terms of both the exterior as well as interior of the India bound new Hyundai Tucson that is already selling in the international car markets. The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is likely to hit the car market of India in this upcoming festive season in the October-November period.
As for the spied interiors of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson in India, this is the first time that the SUV’s interiors got caught by spy shutterbug in this country. The pictures reveal the cockpit and some of the expected features. The Hyundai Tucson SUV will get a premium all black interior theme accented by silver trims on its center console as well as HVAC vents. The SUV will offer a large 8 inch infotainment touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control and leather wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls for audio and cruise control.
Under the hood, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson will get powered by a 2.0 liter CRDI diesel mill and a 2.0L MPI 4 cylinder petrol motor. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic transmission options, while an All Wheel Drive system option is also expected on the range topping diesel variant.
The spied Tucson was caught riding on large 17 inch multi-spoke alloys. Similar to the new 2016 Elantra, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson will also be assembled in India in order to keep its pricing competitive. The new Tucson is likely to be priced in the range Rs. 18 – 24 Lakhs.
