Hero MotoCorp launches new-gen Achiever 150; also launches limited edition model to mark 70 million production milestone

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced the new generation model of the popular Hero Achiever 150. The new-gen Achiever 150 is aimed at expanding the company’s footprint in the country’s premium two-wheeler segment.


The new-gen Achiever 150 boasts of advanced technology as it is endowed with a new BS-IV compliant engine empowered by Hero’s i3S technology. The new-gen Hero Achiever 150 achieves new high of reliability with best in class performance as well as class best fuel economy. Moreover, the new Achiever 150 flaunts new, bolder design, comes loaded with an array of great features and promises to deliver a premium riding experience.

The all improved new-gen Achiever 150 is also priced very competitively to make it a completely irresistible package. It is tagged at Rs. 62,800 for the Disc variant and at Rs. 61,800 for the Drum variant (prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The new-gen Achiever 150 is equipped with a new BS-IV compliant 150 cc Torque on Demand, air-cooled, 4-stroke petrol engine that offers a maximum power output of 13.6 PS at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 12.8 Nm at 5000 rpm. The motorcycle can reach the mark of 60 km per hour from a standstill in just five seconds.

The new Hero Achiever 150 is also by Hero’s i3S technology which is an Idle-stop-start system to offer great convenience in the highly traffic stricken city roads, while offering enhanced fuel economy.

The new-gen Achiever 150 comes with a new bold style statement featuring new sporty headlights & winkers, massive visor, bulged out fender and cowl and new attractive body graphics. The sporty new looks of the bike is further enhanced with a new enlarged fuel tank design, rear fairing, new tail lights and muffler cover among other features. The bike is available in three attractive color schemes – Panther Black Metallic- Premium, Ebony grey Metallic- Elegant and classic and Candy Blazing Red- Vibrant.

The new Achiever 150 is also packed with great features including New Analog Digital Speedometer with Side Stand Indicator, new Seat Profile, a larger Fuel Tank, first-in-class Automatic Headlamp On feature that adds to the safety feature with enhanced visibility. Moreover, the new Achiever 150 offers superior braking performance with its Disc braking system variant, while also being available in a Drum brakes avatar.

In the meantime, Hero MotoCorp is also celebrating a historic production milestone of 70 million two-wheeler units. This makes Hero MotoCorp the only Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to achieve this feat. Hero MotoCorp’s remarkable achievement of 70 million units production milestone coincidentally complements India’s 70th year of Independence. Thus, in order to celebrate both the occasions, the Indian two-wheeler giant also launched a Limited Edition model of the Hero Achiever 150. The Hero Achiever 150 limited edition is clad in a tri-color theme and marks the importance of number ‘70’, as the company will be offering only 70 units of the Achiever 150 Limited Edition in the market.
